Welcome to Stamp THIS, a clique against animal branding, face-branding and tattooing, especially without an anesthetic, and animal cruelty in general. Animal branding is usually done with a hot iron and burned into the animal's skin. I personally feel animal branding is one of the most inhumane practices and it's unfortunate it still exists today. The Animal (Brands and Movement) Act of 1984 made earmarking of sheep and cattle, as well as body tattooing of pigs, compulsory. It is completely unnecessary to put animals through such pain, especially when there are less harmful ways of marking an animal. If you too are against this inhumane and disgusting practice, feel free to join this clique. Give yourself a voice and protest, online or not.Last Updated: February 21, 2010.
